Special Ramadan Gift Box: Ajwa and Medjool Dates for a Gift to Remember

The AlSultanFood Special Ramadan Gift Box is made for one purpose: to make your gift of dates feel truly special. This ‘Kurma Premium’ sliding-drawer box is made for two of the best-loved dates — Ajwa from Madinah and Medjool from Egypt — with a choice of Jumbo or Medium dates and 250g, 500g or 1kg.

Why a dates gift box suits Ramadan

Dates are on almost every iftar table. Giving premium dates means giving something that will actually be used and enjoyed — not just a decoration. The drawer box makes it easy to open and serve straight to guests.

Ajwa or Medjool: know the difference

Ajwa dates

Ajwa comes from Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The fruit is fairly round, near-black, soft and gently sweet. Ajwa is treasured by Muslims for its link to Madinah and the Sunnah — a meaningful choice for parents and people you respect.

Medjool dates

The Medjool we bring in comes from Egypt. It is often called the ‘King of Dates’ for its large size, thick, soft flesh and rich natural sweetness. Medjool suits anyone who loves sweet dates and an impressive size.

• Choose Ajwa if your recipient values the Sunnah connection and prefers a gentler taste.
• Choose Medjool if your recipient loves big, very sweet dates.

If you want a particular type of date in this box, ask us on WhatsApp before you order.

Jumbo or Medium, 250g to 1kg

1. 1250g — a simple gift, door gift or visiting gift.
2. 2500g — the most popular family gift.
3. 31kg — a generous gift for a big family or key clients.

Jumbo gives bigger, fleshier fruit; Medium is moderately sized and better value when you are gifting many people.

Ramadan and Raya gift ideas

• A gift for parents and in-laws before Ramadan begins.
• Corporate gifts for clients, suppliers and staff.
• A visiting gift when you break the fast at a relative’s or friend’s home.
• A present when you visit a Hari Raya open house.
• Add a ‘Ramadhan Mubarak’ card for a personal touch.

How to store

Keep the box in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Once opened, move the dates to an airtight container; the fridge helps keep them soft in hot weather. Please check the expiry date on the pack.

Tips for corporate Ramadan gifting

For companies that want to thank clients and staff, a dates gift box is a safe choice almost everyone appreciates. Plan your recipient list early, then choose sizes by group — for example 1kg for key clients and 250g or 500g for staff.

• Prepare a list of recipient names and addresses before ordering.
• Choose Jumbo for VIPs and Medium for large quantities.
• Add a greeting card with your company name or logo.
• Send during the first week of Ramadan so the gift is enjoyed all month.
